YA Writer Joelle Charbonneau

I'm looking forward to seeing my friend Joelle Charbonneau in Raleigh Saturday, November 7. She'll be at Quail Ridge Books and Music at 3:00 talking about her great new stand-alone thriller Need from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Readers will probably want to check out the book's website to get a taste of what the book is like.

Do You Have a Favorite Agatha Christie?

Katherine Turro, marketing coordinator for William Morrow sent me this notice:
It's the 125th anniversary of Agatha Christie, and her estate is on a mission to discover the "World's Favorite Christie Mystery." You can be a part of this selection. Check out World's Favourite Christie to browse books, watch videos, and vote for your favorite Agatha Christie mystery.

Careful—you get only one vote!

Spring Mystery Tour Updates

I've just received the news that Ann Cleeves has had a family emergency and will have to cancel her North Carolina tour. All the bookstores will have her books on hand for purchase—we just won't be able to have them signed.

The Friday, May 8 Barnes & Noble event has been canceled.

Elaine Viets will be unable to be at the Saturday, May 9 event at McIntyre's, but she will have been by the store to sign stock.

Sarah Shaber will join Marcia Talley, Frances Brody and me for a discussion on Saturday, May 9, at McIntyre's.
